super 55 diesel timing

Hello all. I have a 1955 super 55 diesel that I just did a major overhaul on. While I was at it I purchased all the components I needed to change over to the roosa master pump like on the late 550s. Now if I pull start the machine about 20 feet or so it will fire and run great. Problem is I can"t start it with just the starter. I was thinking maybe a timing issue? Are the timing marks on my flywheel the same as one that would have had the roosa master stock? Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No Way! Bosch pumps are timed to the start of injection (port Closing) Roosa Master pumps are timed to the end of injection (Port opening). I will send you an e-mail. I need to know which Roosa pump you have. J.
