Super 55 steering box fill plug?

I just rebuilt my 1955 super 55 steering box. I am getting ready to fill it with 85-140 oil. I was wondering which bolt it is you take out to check the level. I can't find it in the manual. Thanks

Don't fill with oil. Fill with corn head grease. Some else will have to tell you which bolt.

One of the lower bolts that hold the side pieces on is drilled into the case. Take one out and try it. If you can't find one drilled out do it yourself. Remove the tip of your grease gun and stick the pipe right in the bolt hole and pump the grease right in.
