Super 90

I just bought a super 90 diesel without multi power. The pto light on the dash stays on all the time and the pto shaft turns all the time even if lever is in neutral. The
only way it will stop is if I shut off engine put pto in ground speed and then re start engine and even then it is dragging so hard that it tries to push tractor foreward like
clutches are dragging. Power steering,three point auxilary hydraulics are all really strong. Any ideas apprecitede.

Sounds like the PTO discs are all burned/warped inside..

hi i bought a super 90 with a similar problem the pto would not shut off and if you put it in ground speed it drove the tractor forwards one day i was working the tractor hard and the pto worked properly after that i think the valve inside the tractor had stuck and the temperature increase freed it off
