I'm trying to find a new belt pulley gasket for a super a its leaking very badly and need directions on where to find one thanks

If you are not able to find an original gasket, it is not that difficult to cut one from sheet gasket material. Most auto supply stores or tractor supply have this material. I will coat the part that needs a gasket with grease and then press it on the gasket material. I then use the grease impression as a guide to cut the gasket.

# 5 is the pulley shaft oil seal that needs replaced. The oil seal is available at any Case IH dealer or an auto supply selling Chicago Rawhide seals. The seal is mounted in a casting held on by three bolts and it does have a gasket this can be made or purchased. If there is a groove in the shaft there is a wear sleeve to repair that.

Agree with others - but I'll add that you should be sure you're not overfilled.

(with oil (and water - super a's can take on a lot of water in the trans if left out).

They'll leak a lot more when the transmission case is overfilled - and the proper amount is a whole lot less than what you might put in if eyeballing it.
