anyone know if the axel key slot is straight cut or has a taper to it on a super ? I am putting 9 bolt hubs oh that has a 3/4 "key so I have to have a step key made to accept the 1/2" axel. Thank for any help.

I believe it to be straight. That way you can slide the wheels in/out for adjusting wheelspacing.

I just did the same thing to my super .Went from 3/4 to 1/2 keyway and it does have a slight taper to it.

Thanks for the replys. I don't have the tractor home yet but trying to get things ready for the pulling season.
