Super C

Picked up a couple Super C tractors in Hernando, MS this past weekend. The one that is together has a stuck motor. But it has aux hydraulics and a homemade 3 point hitch. The motor turns on the one that is partially disassembled. It came with all the parts. It also has a woods belly mower and fenders! Unfortunately between the two there are only two good rear tires . Tires are expensive . And one rim is totally shot. What to do,what to do? Several projects ahead of them to work on while we plot strategy

Sounds like you can make one good tractor and end up with a lot of parts.

Build one nice tractor. You should have some nice looked for parts left. Sell fenders, mower separate. Still have one here you need. And couple food plot disc.

I like my Super C best of all my small Farmall’s. The 3 point is handy if it was made right. On a SC it won’t have full range and will be in the way to get on and off assuming it has a bar from the touch control. Mine has a fast hitch and 2 point equipment is pretty non existent around here. So I don’t really have personal experience with the 3pt. With 2 good tires gives you time to look for another pair at a fair price if you want to keep them both. They turn easy and have good power. I doubt they are worth any more than the A’s you resell. I’d keep one at least long enough to get to know it. Nice haul!

Had a few minutes to tinker around yesterday evening. Cleaned the carb,fresh gas , good battery and a temporary wire to the coil and one is running . Swapped the bad fan assembly for a good one from our stash, new hoses, installed the radiator and shroud,filled with water and discovered the water pump is leaking like crazy
