I would be willing to pay up to a thousand for a non running tractor IF it turned over and had compression. That is up in Connecticut. There are plenty of Farmalls around but I'd be willing to bet its worth less in other parts of the country.

That is a stage 1 SH with a stage 2 bolster. Since it is stuck and missing parts, no more than $500. No lights, seat is a poor imitation of the Stage 2 seat, etc. Unless you mean she will give it to you -- I probably still wouldn't want it sitting around taking up space.

How can you tell the bolsters apart?

Look at the front corners of the bolster. The stage 2 has mounting holes for a cultivator.

The H for sure and I believe the stage 1 SH don't have the slots on each corner. On the SM, the slots don't begin until either very late in Stage 2 or with the SMTA. My 53 stage 2 does not have them.

Can't beat the price, take it. Some stage one SH tractors changed over to that bolster before stage two tractors started. Some tractors around 3000 or so serial numbers below stage 2 serial number start. Also that's the replacement bolster IH sold for most H to 350 farmalls after they started making that style.
