Super M with TA

Could a TA have been put on and earlier Super M? I have seen one that does not have the Torque Amplifier flag below the emblem.

Tractor, tractor, The long and short answer is NO. The Stage III Supers had a different rearend than a regular SM. The tractor you saw was a "Factory Delete TA" The hood decale was the Super M-TA, minus the wing part of the decale. Technically that tractor is still a Super M-TA, even though it is minus the TA. Hope this helps.

Yes, the tractor's model was Super MTA, whether it had a Torque Amplifier or not.

The Super MTA decal set usually will come with two sets of round decals for the hood. One with the Torque Amplifier wing, and one without. It is possible that someone used the leftover non-wing decals on a regular Super M.

the way i read it its an M with a ta and no decal or a smta with ta but missing the decal not a ta delete tractor.

Could you clear things up a little. Do you mean the tractor has a T/A but the emblems don"t have the wings? Do you have the serial # and suffix letters if any from serial number plate?

Ok, I think I confused some people sorry about that. The tractor has a TA, but the emblem just says Super M, it does not have the Torque Amplifier part on the emblem. This is why I was asking if a TA could have been put on a Super M. Looks to me like someone got the wrong emblem 0n this tractor, I will try and get Serial numbers. Thanks for your time.

Super M's did not have TA's. And, it is simply not practical to convert one to a TA unless you you put the whole MTA rear end on one.

Most likely when painted last the wrong decal package was
bought and put on.

[b:939795bad9] It is a Super M-TA with the incorrect decals[/b:939795bad9].
