What/Who are some good sources for used engine parts and other parts for a super MTA?
Heads, manifolds, sleeves, pistons, fenders, etc....
Steiner stuff any good? They appear to have a lot. Seems expensive.
I'm a Moline guy and in process of working on late grandfathers MTA I tracked down in Texas. Not a lot of experience with the red.
Going to be a fun one! It's stuck at present time, just starting to tear into it.
Manifold is junk, most valves are stuck. Rocker arm assembly very very rusty. Will be removing head soon...
Also, it's still set up on 6 volt. 12 volt would be huge advantage obviously, but will this hurt value of the tractor by changing over? Doesn't make any difference on the mm's unless you've got something incredibly rare.
Tractor supposedly has M&W pistons in it, but will know for sure once I get in there.
Engine is 264, correct? What is bore and stroke?
