SuperC Front Tires

My 5.00-15 front tires need to be replaced. I have a new set of 4.00-15 I can put on. Would that make much of a difference being a inch narrower? I can't see where it would make much of a difference. I don't do alot of work with this tractor, I just putt around the farm with it.

The parts book says you can use either 4.00-15 or 5.00-15 on the 3x15 rim.

They will do ok the 5.00 should be used if like cult with fert atachment was used. It will look a little different. But the 4.00 will cary the front.

It might sit a bit lower in the front.

4.00 x 15 were gennerally matched with 8 x 36 (8.3 x 36) rear tires and 5.00 x 15 were generally matched with 9 x 36 (9.5 x 36) rear tires but either will work.
