Ta Handle

does anyone know if the TA handle on a farmall 460 is cast steel or cast iron would like to cut and length it, seem really short compared to my 400's one

Silicon bronze rod & a TIG will weld cast iron.

cut it and add in a piece of cast...some good 7018 can weld it too..or go high dollar and get some good royal M260...nickel alloy rod..it welds pretty good...or braise it....with a torch
