TA problems help

I recently bought a 450. When you pull the TA, it works briefly and then you hear a spinning noise. Is it busted, worn out or out of adjustment. I'm new to TA's and know nothing about them. Any help would be great. I don't know how to adjust or determine what's wrong. Maybe some of you guy's could help me out with some info. Thanks!

The ta clutch or the ramp gears and bearings or all of it?

Most liklly the ramp/rollers in the one way clutch. But your going to have to tear it down and insepect everything or just run it the way it is with no TA.

Even if it is just the ta clutch i"d replace the entire ta while you"re there. I do have the parts if you are interested.
