TE20 Brakes

Finally got the tractor running with your help. Wanted to adjust up the brakes and went to loosen the centralizer bolt on the left side and the bolt snapped right off. I would like to get a replacement before I take it all apart so I can reassemble it immediately. Per the parts book the bolt number is 825-590-M1. Does anyone know if this is a special part or what the dimensions of this bolt are? It calls for a 3/8 NF nut. If there is nothing special about the bolt, can I replace it with a Grade 8 bolt and if so what length? Thanks again!

825590M1 is the Centraliser not the bolt, I take it that you want the bolt that secures the Centraliser to the Brake Back plate, that is 825550M1 it is just a standard bolt nothing special about it.there are no details as to length but I would think that 1-1/4" would be long enough.
It is usually the Centraliser that breaks not the bolt. It happens when someone attempts to adjust the brakes without slackening the bolt off first so the whole thing will float and centralise itself....John

Thanks again John. You were right about the part number, It was late at night here and I was one part number off in the manual.
