Thanks For the Prayers

Yesterday, I asked for prayers for our son,and you responded. We didn't hear anything thru the day, so my wife called him this evening and he said he is feeling much better and looking forward to coming home Friday. He said he talked to the Dr. today and he was surprise that he was better, said he had figured he would get a call in the middle of the night to come and operate on him. Not sure what it was, but had him worried for a while. So, I just want to say thank you again, I am grateful to you all, may God bless you. Chris

Super99, 4 or 6 cyl.? Walnut Illinois, Sounds like yours prayers are answered for now. Get him home and some of mothers cooking in him. Maybe it won't flare up again. I worked for Midwest Crankshaft several yrs. ago & I called on Gale Frank in Normandy is he still in business? Nice man ,good engine rebuilder.Have a Merry Christmas. Earl,Mahomet,Illinois

Gotta be a screamin jimmie, only way to go. My daughter and her husband live in Walnut, He's from that area, I'm west of Quad Cities. Can't remember the name on the sign, but there is a small dealer in Normandy with a White sign out front, appears to be open but only go by on weekends, so not much activity. Would that be him? Always thought I'd stop in someday but haven't got there yet. Chris

Good that God answered prayers and that your son is coming home for Christmas instead of recuperating in a hospital. His Mother would never rest knowing one of her kids isn't home and well. My appendix flares up once in a while. It never has been to the point that it needs anything done but sure is painful. The doctor says that some people are like that and your son may be one.

Yes , that is the shop . I believe a old Moline dealer. Gale also reconditions combines. I called on all the shops in the Quad City area. Earl

IOWA Tire Guy, I have a friend that needs a 12.4 28 Birla Tire 45 deg . He bought a tractor & it has one new one. DO you have or know a dealer? Thanks Earl

Earl, No I don't. 10 years ago importing tractor tires was the rage. Then Titan went to cutting prices and we could buy them for the same money as the imports. That pretty much dried up the sources for imported tires. Now Titan as raised it's prices but the weak dollar is keeping the imports prices up. All I can think of would be to check with Goodyear. Some of their smaller Goodyear branded tires are made in India and they might use the same molds.
