'Bout 20 or 30 years ago when I was working for Mother GM, I had bought a heavy duty air chisel from Snap-On to handle the occasional ball-joint job.
Remember the darned thing cost something like $52, which was a slug of money to me back then. Cussed myself for a long time because I had spent so much on a tool that was rarely used.
Problem: Manual crank jab frozen in the front bolster. Been soakin' for a week and it just wouldn't break free no matter what I tried.
That old chisel paid for itself this morning and made short work of it. :>)
