Well, if you have been following my build on the 2 post canopy for the 431T, I had to revamp the dual remote levers because there was no room between it and the DOM quadrant. First plan was to just rotate them down, and weld them back with a collar, but where they worked was not easy to reach or use. Plan two was the cables that I posted pics of, but the cables only had a 2" travel and the valve levers needed 4" of travel. Not a big problem, just connect the cables to 2 lever arms to increase the cable throw, but not enough room down by the brake pedals and foot throttle to make it all work. Third try today, back to basics. Move the levers up by the dash. I cut and ground all the excess parts off the bell cranks and welded the levers that I cut off onto the original bell cranks. I built a simple bracket to support the original pivot bolt used back in the rockshaft housing and cut 27" off the linkages that originally connected the control levers to the levers on the valves. It is a very simple setup and as easy to reach as any of the levers that Case engineering came up with. Problem Solved. Now on to a foot throttle that actually works.
