THREE POINT

Has there ever been a (3) three point hitch conversion made available , for a Z or ZA ... Looks like the HYD. lift arms would be usable ?? ....PLEASE ADVISE .... ALAN B .

I have a picture somewhere of one on a ZB. I dont think they would be too safe on a ZA because of the swinging seat. What year is your 335?

Alan,

I've got a ZB that had a 3 point on it when I bought it. It looked original to me but I don't know that I've ever seen any sales literature that showed a 3 point for one of these tractors. As for the ZA, I agree with Alan K. The swinging and lower seat assembly could be dangerous with a 3 point hitch. I'm sure it's been done before, but there are better tractors to use for 3 point work. Plus, the hand clutch is a little tougher to use with a 3 point. Your 335 is light years ahead in terms of usefulness and should work much better.

I just came on this Site and have been very inpressed by the responce from your member's !!!   Year of my 335 ?  No Idea  , but I'll research the ID #'s ... And it does have a 3 point .  I,m well versed on Z,s ... The Z-B has a factory three point and live PTO . I have a ZA with an add on HYD system ( no name ) for pulled Impliments , located near the dip stick and runs off from engine oil .. Seems very un-safe in case of a leak , have you ever seen one ? I

AT the end of my last note, where it says "I" , I lost my printer ... have it back now ... I can send you photos of this strange add on Hydraulic's if you wish , Just send me a Postal ... I have an early 1937 Z (not running) with the RE Engine and HOT manifolds made to burn Tractor Fuel or Disillent , Kind of interesting !! Give me a "HEY" Guy's , I love to talk M/M's ..... ALAN B .

Capt . Ugly ; Thanks for the HEY' ... Send me your E - mail please ... also your state and ZIP code ... I'm in Blythe on the Arizona border ... Have property in Oklahoma ... I like the ZB's because you set up high out of the dirt like a Farmal or J.D. ... J.D.'s don't Qualify for a full name "HA" '..... ALAN B .

I have two of the Moline Hydraulic units that mount on the side of the engine. One is mounted on an 1948 RTI, the other is on the shelf along with the cylinders to match. These do work, but I haven't tried lifting anything yet. I think they look interesting on a tractor.

LOREN ; I would think that an RTI (I for industrial)may have had a front Loader at one time in it's life ... What say you ? , but I have never seen one up close and personal !! If this were on the West Coast or Arizona , I would want to buy it Thanks for the HEY' ..... ALAN B .

The side cover mounted hydraulic pump was often used on tractors (such as the RTI) which had mounted sickle bar mowers on them.

I've sold my 1949 RTI that had the Lull loader on it. One heck of a work horse!! Someone pulled in the yard to buy a RTU and saw the RTI and had to have it too. I still have a 1948 RTI and a 1960 G-VI. Can send pictures if you wish for either RTI tractor. I'll need your email address. The RTI with the loader was hard steering but still a nice tractor.
