Considering we grow 2 rows of potatoes and 2 rows of sweet potatoes we don't 'need' that , but sure would be awesome!!!
 
Not a lot of Johnson potato harvesters round here as most farmers used Whitsed machines. You maybe know that L R Boon and Sons at Benwick obtained all of Johnsons parts stock when they finished. MJ.
 
This one replaced a Whitstead Super Duplex.

I did a lot of work for KeyAg later on building monitors and control systems. They had developed a very nice two row harvester to challenge the Grimme and Amac at the time but were under-financed and sold a batch to a French dealer who did not pay for them.

We used to grow around a couple of acres but now it is down to eight 100 yard rows. As you get older you appreciate a machine that lifts to waist height so there is little bending. ;0)
