Thanks for the sites. Perr hasn't responded yet, but I found the problem.Its an EFI engine and has a throttle position pot to tell the computer how much gas to inject depending on what the governor and throttle position are saying. Tore into it myself and found the throttle shaft had gotten water in it and rusted the shaft and caused the pot to freeze up. Contacted Kohler and will be interesting to see their response.A 10 cent o-ring would have kept the problem from happening. Printed off an owner's manual too. Thanks again,bob
