I believe it's alittle out of time, because it won't start when it gets 30f, or below and when you turn it off, it kicks back or diesls.

I have the idle set so it just runs.

I have two heaters on it, a block heater and a heater in the radiator hose. You have to plug it in, for a least four hours and then it will start.

Thanks for any help,
DuWayne

Remove the plate on top of the flywheel housing. Rotate the engine (clockwise if looking at the front of the engine) untill the the pointer lines up with 5° BTDC mark. Connect an test light to both sides of the coil. The test light should glow at this time. Turn the distributor clockwise untill the light goes out. Lock down the dist. If the test light does not light up at 5°, turn the dist counterclockwise a little then clockwise untill it goes out.
