tires for a G 6 moline puller

I am building a set of 18 by 38 rims for my tractor i always like firestone traction field and road tires but you cant get them any more i have heard guys saying they liked the new super all traction II tires wondering what is the best tire to put on a open antique tractor like this with out cutting a set

look around there are plenty of used field and road tires if you must have new the all traction 2 are a pretty good option

Be careful when considering newer tires in particular the SATII. They have less lugs and the lugs are much thinner when compared to a SAT 23 degree. I've seen a few guys run them with mixed results. I second the idea of finding some Firestone Field & Road.

Yeah, it looks like Firestone is pulling some kind of "cheap deal" with those new Super All Traction II tires. They look like the regular Super All Traction...until you see them side by side, the you see the smaller, fewer lugs. Hmmmm, what manufacturers will do, tsk, tsk.

Why do you want your rims so wide? If you are really serious. Just call Cale 6188304992, or
Bubba 2703169974, they can fix you up the right tires and rims. Vic

thanks i will try and find some traction field and road tires i put my tires on the wide rims it flattens the tread out and seems to pull a little better at least on my MM UTU thanks for the input

I've got some beautifull 20.8X38 firestone radial 23 degree tires with 30% tread and wicked sharp road wear I'd sell. I'm in MN not sure where you are at.
