First: Do I need to use an ORC with a five-foot finish mower on a TO-20?
Second: The tractor had an ORC on it when I got it a few years back, and I took it off so I could put on a PTO cap, while I was using a back blade.
At some point, the ORC turned a little (while it was off the tractor), and I can't turn it so I can drive out the roll pin. The holes aren't lined up, and the ORC seems to be locked up.
Will removing the snap ring do any good, and help get the ORC apart?
Third, and Final: If I raise the finish mower too high, the finish mower wheels hit the rear tractor tires.
I tried to set the stops on the quadrant, but the lift still seems little touchy: sometimes it still raises too high, sometimes not high enough. Is there a better solution?
