i am still kicking the old to30 around, i don't have any hydraulics at all, has new control valve, can look in and see it's moveing but won't move 3-point arms empty,..even with wore out pump i'd think the arms would move,..any thoughts ??????? and yes the pto is engaged

Remove the LEFT side round plate to see all this. If the control Valve is moving (check this that it isn't just the Control Fork as the Valve can become detached) Oil should cover the Control Valve at least while you test it. Make sure that the Control Fork is right up against the Pump Body when the Lever is in the lift position or the Control Valve will not be in the correct position to suck oil.
Make sure that there are no leaks at the rear of the Lift Cylinder in the top cover (you will see oil streaming down near the back) look inside at the front right corners, top and bottom and check if there are leaks here. If there are no leaks after checking this you can assume that there is no oil being sucked into the Pump, possibly the Control Valve is Blocked with crud. This means that you would need to drop out the Pump and clean the Valve Bush, but be careful as you could damage the Bush and the Control Valve would then not operate and stick. DO NOT tear anything down until you are certain that there are no leaks. If you need the written information about checking for leaks and removing the Pump, just email me and I will send [email protected]
