TO30 Radiator ?

My TO30 radiator has bitten the dust.I see new ones running upwards of $200..pretty steep for a $2k tractor...can I use a Ford 8n or 9n radiator instead? Does anyone know if they will switch out? Thanks Vince

Vince, See if there are any radiator shops in your area. Its been my experence that they are usually half price of new to re-core your old one, it may be worth your time and save a few bucks. John

Don"t think you can use the Ford radiators. I know paying 10% of total value of the tractor seems like a lot, but actually $200 is not a bad price for a new radiator in my experience.

Bought one today from a local parts dealer.$190 OTD...He didn't know if it was Chinese made or anything about a warranty..Oh Well..Ya paz your money u takes yer chances! Vince

Tip........The TO30 it's known to run hot anyway...
I'm saying that because.....in actuality, any radiator that will bolt up,will work just fine.Considering, the hose connections, and room to install, the foremost considerations........Fabricating the mounting, shouldn't be that big a deal...Just look for the same dementions...And stay away from the ones that have the oil coolers running thru them...These days though, thats gonna be tough.... I'm pointing you to the junk yards / salvage yards...Even then it may be difficult to find one thats small enough to fit.
