Many years ago when we did a lot of dairy barn electrical work, we used to have lots of small dairies, That was a common occurrence as the pipelines were usually low over the feed manger where the panel was was mounted, poor lighting and wearing a cap.

Yes indeed, being 6 foot tall, I have banged my head on quite a few pipe lines in dairy barns. You stop wearing a hat after a while.

My great grandfather and his 10 boys were all between 5 0 and 5 6. My brother & I are 6. The barn great grandfather built had doors to the leans at 5 10. The barn had 2 40 watt light bulbs in each lean. There were a few times my brother & I uttered some barn yard talk.
