I don't know much technical information about Case tractors but I saw one today give a very valiant fight at our local scrap yard. It had been stripted of a lot of sheet metal, radiator and front end suspension but cab and engine, transmission, rear end including tires were still intact. The owner was wanting to save rear tires and rims, they had removed wheel studs but apparently the rust had welded the cast hubs and rims solid. The crane with claw grabbed the top of the cab and preceeded to toss the entire unit around like a Mexican Pinata. After dropping the entire unit several times they were successful breaking the rust welds but the cab stayed secure throughout. This was not an extremely old tractor, maybe an early CaseIH model. I think Case was early in building intigrated cabs on tractors and this one died valiantly.
