Track tension

My crawler is a d2, when you drive it straight. it want go straight, you might have to correct it every 200 feet. The right track was about 1 inch loser then left. would that make it turn right? I have tightend that track, It hasen't been driven this winter. When pulled hard it will spin both track's .I just hope the clutch pack isn't sliping. Thanks.

If one track is worn more than the other it will drive away from the worn side. Also if it has been sitting and has a few seized links they will throw it of to one side a bit.

Carefully measure the width of the tracks front and rear and compare. Also make sure your tracks are parallel. Measure to the frame front and rear on both sides and compare.
Run your crawler forward for 10 or 20 feet and let it coast to a stop. Look through the tracks at your front idlers and make sure they are centered in the chains.
On my old Deere there are shims to make the track carriages parallel and to "steer" the front idlers left or right.
Whether one track is tensioned more than the other shouldn't make it turn as the length of the chain is still the same. If one chain is very much more worn than the other, that could cause it to steer to the short side.
I doubt very much that the turning is caused by slipping clutches.
If you use your crawler a lot, the constant tendency to turn will cause excessive wear on chains, front idlers, and rollers, as well as operator fatigue from all the correction. If you are just a "weekend warrior", it is a nuisance you could probably ignore.
