What is the proper model # of a Marvel-Schebler Carburator to fit
on a 1952 Model A John Deere tractor - Serial #684185?

Believe it is a Schebler DLTX-72.

DLTX71 gas or DLTX72 if an all-fuel

It is not an all-fuel - It has a DLT-13 on there, but don't think it is right.

They didn't make a DLTX-13. That would be a bowl number. The carb number will be stamped on a flat spot an the carb body. It will be on the backside as it is mounted and towards the front of carb.

my carb is numbered DLT-13 not DLTX-13

DLT-13 is still a bowl number not a carb number.

DLT 13 is the casting number of the bowl used on all DLTX carburetors except for early unstyled tractors and H"s.

mark-ia I found the numbers where you said they should be and I have a DLTX 71 for gas. it is the right carb for the tractor.Thanks for the help. MK
