I WAS JUST WANDERING ABOUT SOME PRODUCTION #'S OF TRACTORS IN THE 130HP RANGE MADE IN THE 70'S
FORD-9600,9700
WHITE 2-135
WHITE 2-105
AC 7045
MF 1155
CASE 2290
I THINK THAT DEERE 4430-40 AND IH 1066-86 PUT OUT SEVERAL MORE THAN THE REST BUT ANY WAY I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HOW MANY OF EACH, AND EVERYBODY OPION OF EACH ONE PROS AND CONS DEERE AND IH INCLUDED, THANKS FOR EVERONES INPUT.

First off, if you're going to compare numbers it would be better to compare year by year and not, for instance, a 7045 to the 4430 & 40. The 4430 and 40 were produced from 1972 to about 1982. The 7045 was from 1977 to 1981. Even adding the 7040 to the 7045 would be from 1974 to 1981. But yes Deere and IH did outproduce most every one else. Though not so during the two lunger era for Deere.

AC produced 3887 of the 7045. Not sure about any others. Greg

Can't get to my books right now,the Christmas tree is in the way. Not sure I have actual numbers on the Whites anyway. But...if you're asking opinion,and without trying to start a war,I'll just tell you that traded a 40 series Deere that I bought new for a 2-135 White. I never regretted it. The Deere had been in the shop for every possible malady that could ever happen to one. Cost a fortune every time. The White trans and rearend are practically indestructable. Starts 100% better in cold weather,easier to service.... I can tell you,it's had several leaks here and there,but I've got 'em all sealed up now. Just a darned good tractor that I'd recomend to anybody.

The only ones I can relate to is the 2-135 and the 966/1066. I will never own another 2-135. You had to have a full can of ether to get it to start if it was below 40 degrees. We also had a lot of trouble with the steering box breaking. It is mounted under the radiator area on the front end. You had to be half monkey and half magician to get it out. The last one we took out is now hanging in a low spot on the fence. (heavy) It was somewhat awkward to shift, you just needed to have some patience. It did have good power and it would flat walk right through a loader if you werent careful. My 966 and 1066 IH are both Hydro. LOVE them. They make a great loader tractor because you can creep forward and back, no need to shift every time you stop. They also work great on a baler or bale processor. Mainly for the same reasons.
