Its been a long time since high skool.... lol isn't like pie r squared?
pie= 3.14 r squared= radius times radius.
As I said, it's been awhile.

But seriously folks, Michelin lists a rolling circumference of 179.4" s you might call it 15'. But that would be wrong because your chains bind down inside that circumference. If you assume that the circle of the chains would be three inches outside the bead and approximate a 36" diameter, multiply by pi, gives you 113". Allow a little extra for overlap, and ten feet or a little more would be about right. This would need the cross chains to be about two feet long.

Make certain the chains are tight enough and the cross chains long enough.
Needless to say I found out after putting the chains on the tractor I purchased from my Uncle then driving down the road.

pi r squared gives you area of a circle. pi diameter gives circumference.
