Traded for this 53 Footclutch SC yesterday.Has the best set of fenders I have been able to get. Also still has original carb.Seems to be a low hour tractor.Smokes and doesnt run rell well.Has the wrong mag.Looks like the original tires on the back in good shape.Previous owner brush painted over original paint/dirt.Traded several pieces of equipment for it.

Nik? , Shux.. if you just need the fenders? ,, i will take them off for you and buy the rest ,, man that is a clean lookin sc ,, NICE FIND // looks like corn has ot a fine start ,, 8 inches tall there yet ?

Hey that brush paint job preserved a lot of the old girl. Whats
worse rust and pits or a nice heavy layer of paint. Tells me the
previous owner wanted to take care of his investment. She is 60
years old and still looks pretty darn good. And has more
character than a glassy automotive paint job.

Looks really good to me!!

I live about three blocks from were the old case dealer was in town. They closed up in 54 or 55. They still had a new unsold 53 SC. it was parked in a barn and left there till 1984. The barn was tore down and the tractor was sold to a farmer in town. I'm sad to say the SC is now rusting away in the trees along with an LA and several DC's. The SC still has it's original 3rd link and tool box with all the lights. The owner won't sell any of them.

Jim,
You cant have anymore SC's cause you talk mean about them,LOL!!!!
Picture was taken yesterday,Corn would be 8-10 inches tall by now but we have been dry!!!Longest dry spell I can remember for this time of year.
We got about 6/10's of rain last night so it should jump now.

Nice buy! I wouldn't mind my SC on the loader so much if it had a foot clutch and live power. One day I'll make it out towards Owensboro and bring the trailer and see what Case stuff (small and common!) I can come home with.

Nick, Great looking SC. Looks like it was well taken care of. It's amazing how much difference a little care can make. Dennis
