I made a trailer out of a '67 Dodge pickup once. There were several bullet holes through one side of the box.

I ran into a guy who knew how the bullet holes got there, but he refused to tell me.

Hey guys... So, I've been making some progress on the thing, and yes, I survived torching stuff a few feet away from the gas tank... I swear the thing was 3/4 full last time the truck was running, but it was bone dry when I tried to pump it out, prior to taking it off the truck. Someone siphoned the tank on my silverado last time I was out of town, and I guess they got this truck too. It was inside of a barn, far from view too. They must have canvassed the whole damn farm. I hope they got the stuff in one of my project mowers, after sitting a couple years in a metal gas tank, that stuff should be aged to perfection.

Anyway, its off, and I've done some other work on it... I'm killing time here at school, but once I get home, I'll post some pics, and a video that I took...

I'm also going to order some steel tonight, I guess...

The farm shops I know have steel stock getting rounded on the corners from moving it from place to place. Ask around and see what shakes out???

Spend money unheard of in my Dad's shop he went out back and cut off an implement what he needed. Depression era child - NO money in the day.

I hope you unplugged the air conditioner and had the refrigerant recovered out of it before using it like that.
