transfer pump

I've bought replacement spouts from the "Gas Spouts" online store. They recently launched a battery/electric transfer pump. Since it's made for gasoline, I assume it will work with fuel.

Here's a picture, and here's their website:

If your mind is made up, order it and be done.

I assumed we were talking about the Kubota tractor he has, even though the word 'gasoline' was getting thrown around. I wasn't paying that close attention.
John what I bought is good for gas and diesel and it has longer hose. I'll post back how well it works in a few days.

If I were in your shoes I would still use air. A 5 gallon plastic pail or even your gas cans with vents can be drilled and tapped for a 3/8 or 1/4 inch nipple one hole to ad air and one hole to push a hose in to the bottom. get one of those make tight fittings works the best. Hot glue gun works to seal as well. ad less than 5 lbs of air and you can move gas up a ways. I have done it with gear oil in 5 gallon pails for years. I am not going up but it sure works good to fill a diff. I don't worry about it being glued as air escapes I just keep filling the pail and watch the lid to know when to stop or ad more. with gas you would get fumes so sealing would be better. I Have also done it in barrels of calcium to fill my rear tractor tires.

I like the idea to use air filling tires. On them 5 gallon jugs you could drill a 5/8 hole and put in a tire valve stem in it to add air.

I had a stroke. I need a way to transfer gas from a five gallon can to a tractor. lifting 5 gallons is not a good idea in my condition, What do you have? what do you recommend?
What did your Doctor and or Health professional recommend you do,.......for the next foreseeable future?
Surely there was some dialogue...............
Packing buckets filled with liquid.......?

I bought the one that HF sells. Like this one there is an in and out with 2 hoses, both identical, about 3' long, just pieces of tubing, nothing on the tips with on-off switch and battery powered. I can't believe now that I have it how many times in just a short period I have used it. One of my best buys. No reason why yours won't work just as well.

One simple trick I learned about fuel cans, 2 gallons is lighter than 5. Lawn mowers and such I use a 2.5 gal can.

Ya’ll do whatever. I WOULD NOT be adding air to a plastic gas can. 1 lb or 5 lbs pressure. Never!! Simply put 2.5 gallons in 5 gal can. Half as heavy and much easier to pour. I cab still lift 5 gal and pour in n H but 3.5/4 gal is so much easier. I use to carry 50 lb fertilizer bags on each shoulder across the field when i ran out before getting back. Not now. That is why i got new knees a few years ago. Simply put i am now older/wiser. Work smarter not harder!!

try walking and not falling after you have had a stroke.

Understand. Getting old not much fun. Have fractured back 2 different times. Pushing 70. Staying active helps. Get a rolling cart or hand truck to carry the cans. Use that to help walk. I would get an approved fuel tank and electric pump before pressurizing a plastic can. 5 lbs might be ok. Then again it might not. Just asking for an explosive outcome in my opinion.

I never mentioned I was going to pressure lized any can. I wanted a transfer pump not a. Air compressor

If using air pressure to push fuel out of a 5 gallon fuel jug with a transfer hose that has no valve, you have less chance of an explosion than with any electric pump.

I would worry if the pump has bushes, but it is brushless, I had a 1962 Jag XKE. I was worried every time I turned the key on because it had a fuel pump inside the gas tank.
