I don't have a diagram for you, but the one my Grandfather had used a car tranny, complete with synchronizers. out of a Plymouth I believe.

I think that is a T98 trany and it was out of a Studebaker. I know a guy who is a collector of Gibson tractors. shoot me an email and I will send his info.

Not shore of your 48 ihad a 46 u-joint was inclosed in a ball socket rear split apart like a 48 ford. That trans was early chev or GMC.
