Travel Trailer

I am trying to "convince" myself to purchase a small "camping-type" trailer. The ALINER "sport" is the one that is exciting me right now. Sorta like an "A" frame roof when manally erected. Sorta looks like a "pop-up" type when the roof is stowed for towing.

I might need this piece of equipment for a portable office at some JOB SITES that I am bidding the refrigeration equipment.

Anyone ever had experience with this new type of travel trailer? Appreciate your help.

I had a used Apache once, pop-up with hard/canvas foldable sides. Things wore out quick, even for that high end unit. Resale value was all but gone in a couple of years. Towed nice...

For what your doing, I would suggest an older class C motor home.
I used one as a mobile office (18" long) a number of years ago.
There are a lot out there pretty reasonable.

I sorta like the simplicity of these units. The fiberglass roofs just fold down. I am planning on the "father and son fishing trips" type of beds. As opposed to the "couples" sleeping arrangement.

Here, in the DC area, these trailers rent-out for $400.00 per week. Cheap???

My next door neighbor as one of those motorhome types. It has sat for 2/12 yrs. in the backyard. He paid $$$$$$ for it. They, so far, have only gone to thge beach in Maryland 2 times.

So their costs per day of ownership has been ?????

Thanks, though. Too many systems for keeping me too busy.

I don't own one myself, but know two people who do. Both live in MN and use them for weekend or vacation here and on the road (one has been used long distance to TX, etc.). They both really enjoy their Aliners. Say they are easy to set up and trailer very well. No real probems yet.(3-4 years?)

I put the word out with the FACTORY here in PA.

Maybe they will forward my request to some dealership within 100 mi. radius. First..Looking fer a used one.
