How is the turnout for the Saturday Pull? I'd think about coming up and pulling 4-5,000 if I could get done in time to make it down to MAFMCA by 4:00. I know trying to guess how quickly a pull will go is like trying to predict if it will snow New Year's day in June - just trying to get a feel if it would be worth the trip (haven't given it a thought till now.... so settign up milking help, etc. this brainstorm may not work out anyways).

I know there aren't a lot of guys that pull both places - and I've only been able to make it up to TR once a year so far so my input probably really doesn't matter, but I'm sorta dissapointed that TR decided to run their show the same weekend as MAFMCA's which has been going on the same weekend for over 15 years. I know we tend to draw two different crowds for our monthly pulls, but there are a few guys from the TR pull that tend to make it down to MAFMCA for the show pulls even if they don't usually pull with us for the year. I've never been to the TR show, but I'd think the overlap would hurt their show by a few tractors too from guys that normally run with MAFMCA - but maybe I'm wrong. I understand the part about having more help on a holiday weekend to have a show. I'm not trying to start an argument - just plainly stating that for some of us who would consider trying to hit parts of both shows it makes it pretty difficult having them overlap on the same weekend.

Mike we start at 10:00am Soooo you might make it!!

mshultz u should be good on time i start in the 550 class i usually start pulling around 1230 1 o clock usually done with 700 loaded and 94 miles home by 630

Thanks. I went to the 1st pull and they had a great turnout - think I got home around 5:00 and only pulled to 5,000 - had to get home to milk. It seems like numbers have been down since the beginning of the year, but I assume they'll be a little better with the shows going on.
