do they still make trutest sockets i bought a set of them back in 1970 cost me $75.00 from a hardware store that later folded up now im stuck with a 1 1/8 cracked socket

i spent a weeks paycheck. on that socket set .( that guy) i know he's dead but he said it had a lifetime warranty didnt know he ment his lifetime

True Value hardware is who sold them. Don't they still have them? Here's how to do it. Go in the store, find the socket you need. When the salesman comes over, ask if they have a warranty. When he says "lifetime", reach in your pocket for your old socket and say "Thanks, that's good to know". I did this with a pair of Cresent end nippers from a True Value store and I swear smoke came outta the salesmans ears. He gave me a new pair and said "if they break again, don't bring 'em back here". But that IS where I'd bought them.

I haven't heard the name for a long time. If you can find a dealer they may warranty it...If not you may have to replace with new. I'm one of those buy American guys, Craftsman, Snap-on, S-K, sometimes Kolbalt at Lowes, read the labels for origen. Best of luck.

38 years is good service.Ive cracked 3 in that time, dont lean on warranty much.Many tools are busted by abuse,thats your fault.

Well if the warranty is no good. What is the point of buying anything of quality. Might just as well buy gook junk. I have tools I get warranty on that are 30-40 years old. Besides do you always use all of the sockets the same amount in the set? No some might get used once or twice in ten years and some get used daily.
