Welp, i guess your right about tractors in Colerado. I decided to keep looking down here, I will start an ad in the local paper again, see if this gets me anywhere. Was goin to put it in a paper near here, but i called and heard it was $75 for 2 weeks and when i asked why they cost so much, the lady told me that was the price and to quit being smart, at which point i hung up. So, i'll start looking again. I currentally know of 2 tractors near here, an M which isnt for sale and a non-running Ferguson for $1200-yeah, right. Well, i'll keep you updated!

lanse, you're in southwest ohio correct? drop me an email i have a tractor buddy out that way who is also an auctioneer and a farmer.i can have him put the word out to the locals that youre looking for a project, maybe they can find you a decent one cheap!! glenn

Thats got to be a typo, more like 1750.00.There are H's here up for sale here in west TN on a regular basis.I bought a Super M a while back with a three bottom plow and a 10 ft disc for 900 bucks.Just be patient, you'll find one.

There's an H sitting in an older gentleman's yard on Fowle Road, south of US12 just outside Moscow, Michigan. Been there for years. I'll try to catch the guy when I'm through that way, but he's almost never around.

I don't know where exactly you are, but the reference to Maria Stein, OH in a different thread(which I think was northwest of you) is less than 3 hours away.

Y'all have a good evening!

Anthony

Allright, thanks!! Its worth a shot, if it could be had cheap, it may be worth the shipping-or mabey not. Just please dont tell him its anything serious, i want to see if i can find one around here again, and see how that pans out. But thanks!!!

You need to put an ad in an area wide farm paper.I subscribe to Farm Talk out of Parsons,KS.I can run a free want ad each week in it.It gets all over eastern Kansas-southern Missouri, northern Oklahoma, and western Arkansas.

Over the years I have ran numerous want ads and purchased many items from these free ads.I will soon start placing more want ads for stuff that I collect.

I also run want ads in an area trader paper out of Joplin,MO called the Big Nickel.Theres an H Farmall in it this issue for $650 or will trade for a cow.

Want ads in newspapers cost alot and get poor results.

Lanse,
Here is one in the Photo Ads. Looks like an easy project. At that price, someone might buy it to part out, but I'd hate to see that happen.
1941 H

Having tried to deal with them in the past, they probably do think that H is worth $17K.

If you want I can stop after work and see how it looks.
