Ronaldson Tippet
Tractors built for a few years between 1924 and 1938 by a company that started building farm machinery in 1903 in the town of Ballarat, Victoria. The tractor was a very strong and powerful one with peak horsepower coming at 1000 rpm. In 1938, one was worked twenty four hours a day on a large plough for some time, only stopping for Sundays and covered around 1500 plough miles, a record for the time. Imported tractors caused the demise of tractor production but Ronaldson-Tippet went on to become one of the largest stationary engine manufactures through the 1940's and 1950's.
