tying trouble

i have a nh 68 baler that when tying will miss the right side knot and string 2 bales together and also run two strands of twine on that side, is it the billhook tension or what?

As the other guy said an out of adjusted wiper are can cause that and or a dall knife that is not cutting the twine off the bill hook will cause that

You might want to check the hay dog springs in the bale chamber. If they are bad and not holding the bales they will strip the twine off the billhook, predominetly on the cut side, as that is usually the dencest side.

When you go to fix it is there a know stuck in the billhook? If so it's the the billhook tension and the wiper arm adjustment.

Flip knotter up, wiper should scrub the bill hook and pass the tip of the bill hook by 3/8-1/2". More than likely you will just have to give the wiper arm a wack to make it scrub harder.

Try the easiest first.. Like Old said dull knife that cuts twine.. You cant have those two sharp..One other thing.. did it tie before and you plopped in new twine??
