U 302

A friend of mine is an old Moline mechanic that has a 302 for sale. I asked him what he wanted for it, and, his reply was" If someone offered me the right amount for it, it would be gone". My question is what is a 302 that runs good and looks like it just came out of the factory worth?

Well, my guess the 'right amount' is probably at least 2 times what you think it is worth. And its probably a lot more than he even thinks its worth.

I am not expert, but I have been watching U302"s sell for about the last 10 months. One just sold on Autiontime for around $3,500. It was in ROUGH shape. Depending on the year if it"s in the condition you say it"s prob worth $4,500 to ?. If it runs good, tires are good, and needs nothing, my opinion is it is worth buying if it"s in your price range.

im restorying my 302 ,,have 6800 in it ,,and its not painted yet !!!!

A nice super gas tractor with good rubber, and a showroom paint job is worth 6 to 8 grand I have a real nice lp super with cab that needs paint I would not sell it for less than 5000 paint will cost 2000 go from there

Check out Tractorhouse.com. They have a U302 going to auction Monday Nov 18. Good pics of the condition it is in. Selling price might help give you an idea.
