UB Parking Brake release

I have 53' UB which I am restoring. In the operator's manual it shows a parking brake release rod, which looks to be a rod bent at 90 degrees, which protrudes from the floor near the brake pedals. Mine is missing the rod, but does have the hole in the floor. Mine also has the parking brake plate, however, I can not figure out how the rod connected to it. I'm told the rod is obsolete, and I don't know of any other UB's in the area to look at. Does anyone know where I can get one or explain how it works so I can attempt to fabricate one. Any help would be appreciated.

the rod on the right ,connectedto larger s shaped rod and goes up tobracket on steering colum(sp) is brake release.should be able to heat and bend rod of right size to make it your self.Other rod is depth control for hydralics

I need the entire parking brake assembly if you got it. It is possible that someone cut the bends off the rod going through parking brake plate. How much do you want for the assembly.

I may also need the bracket for the steering column, unless it somehow connects to the hydraulic lever. I have that. I'm kind of at a loss because my operator's manual shows nothing of a rod going to the steering column.

to lock the brakes,push the pedals asfar forward as possible and the wide part leaning against the pedals folds forward and drops into the groves in pedal,holding the brakes tight.The small rod is to unlock the brakes by pushing on pedals and pulling up on small rod,then you can let the pedals out. Has nothing to do with hydralics. the other small rod in photo is used to set the depth of plow bu stoping hydralic cylinder using knoches in small lever

The small rod does not go through the hole en the platform or any otherhole (seephoto)

The small brake rod has a right angel bend on it at the top to be used as a finger hold to pullupon to release the pedals(doen,nt show in photo)

Early UB's had the lock rod that went through the deck plate, the later ones had the rod up on the dash. A friend of mine has an early one. Looks like a 3/8 rod bent at 90 angles if i remember correctly
