Unstyled wide front ?

I saw a picture of what seems to be an unstyled A or B with a wide front. That is the first time I've ever seen one. Now am I seeing correct, did they make wide front unstyled A's & B's ?

Yes, they call them the "bullnose" wide front ends because the steering pedestal itself is cast with the axle sled... no mistakes about it, any unstyled tractor with a wide front is a factory job (at least factory manufactured).

JDDodge,
The first wide front A (AW) was produced in May 1935, with 8 in 1935, 166 in 1936, 92 in 1937 and 37 in 1938, for a total of 303 unstyled AW's produced. Similarly, the BW was first produced about February 1935, with 35 in 1935, 104 in 1936, 88 in 1937, and 20 in 1938, for a total of 247 unstyled BW's. There were other wide front models made but they are even rarer, the AWH, BW-40, BWH, and BWH-40. The above numbers come from J.R. Hobbs nice book on unstyled Deere's.

It was not that unusual for wide front's to be added to A's and B's, and since some reproduction wide fronts have been made, there are more wide fronts out there than came that way from the factory. That is why the serial number of an AW or BW is important - the Two-Cylinder Club can tell you if a particular s/n was shipped as a wide-front. Those bring significantly more money.
