Unusual ---repair update!!

WE dumped fuel added gas...found fuel tank totaly plugged, cleaned it out..Now it doesn't seem to open up. Meaning reaching max rpm and a little short on power.Runs good at idle, and 1/2 throttle. We think it may be a timeing issue.WE have no timeing light, so trying to do it by ear.--Previously did some fileing Inside of mag.so the timeing could be advanced enough to run.--think we have to file some more.---[Thanks to all who responded]

Glad you have it running. With tank dirty, lines maybe too, there also is a screen in the carb, do you have steady flow out of the drain at bottom of the carb. That isn't a very high speed engine, 900 - 1200 I THINK. If mag impulse snaps at timing mark on flywheel you are in time, check point gap first.
