Unusual sighting

the pilot needs landing lessons, lol. this one was parking on the fifth wheel trailer stand parallel not across the road. for like only 2 minutes . there was one spraying here a few weeks ago. they were refilling and refueling on the road also , then had a few hrs rest waiting on rain.

Im pretty sure the pilot does not need landing instructions. He landed into the wind as all good pilots do.

We have a few spraying around here but the newest and greatest is the drones. They need a one ton or trailer for support. I have spotted three different rigs around this year. Two years ago I watched a pilot put one skid on his truck/trailer and hover while his helper filled the spray tanks. I was a hundred feet away and stopped or I never would have believed it

cropdusting with helicopters is gaining in popularity in parts of KS since they can spray small fields like they have in eastern KS. In western KS where there are fields up to one mile square (particularly in far western KS like around leoti or Garden) it is more effective to use an ag plane and there are dozens of those outfits around.

This one was spraying fungicide on our farm. Grandkids loved watching and pilot apparently like being watched.
