Update - woodruff key removal on AC B

Just wanted to give folks an update on my project to remove the key on the belt pulley shaft on my 1950 B so I could replace the oil seal. Thanks for all the suggestions - I was finally able to get it out with the help of my son-in-law. We ended up taking the wheel off to give us a better angle of attack and using a big chisel it came out. It was indeed a half moon key - several folks around home had told me they didn't think it was.

Anyway we replaced the seals on the belt pulley shaft and the PTO shaft and reused the key. Solved my leaks! Thanks again - Steve K.

I'm glad to hear that you got it out. Sometimes a big chisel is a very handy thing to have around.
