vac serial number

I have a vac and the serial number plate is gone can anyone tell me if the serial number might be stamped anyplace on the tractor. any info is appreciated thanks lrr2
 
I don't believe the number is anywhere else on a VAC. It is on a casting on S and D series, but not VA series according to the information I have. The engine has a number, but that is separate from the tractor (VA engines were used on some equipment also).

IF the radiator is original the tag on the top tank has the year of manufacture on it. Also the carb has a date on the tag, as long as it hasn't spent too much time it the soak tank or been replaced.
