Very old Case wheels

Three of these wheels popped up on craigslist and they were close by. They were advertised as tractor wheels, but all the pics he posted showed were the center with the logo.

I went with intentions of buying all 3, partly to have and partly to keep the scrap guys from getting them. But, once I saw them, they didnt appear to be tractor wheels but off of a wagon or some implement or something.

The tires were in two pieces on the other 2 wheels , so I just came home with this one. Just for having, but a nice old solid rubber tired piece of history.

Could you give us deminsions? Likely its a wheel off a wagon. , But its rubberized like they did with their early industrial model tractors,

These are wheels off a threshing machine. The rubber is just a farmer added item so they would go down the pavement better since many counties didn't really appreciate steel wheeled equipment on their new pavement. They still don't but my thresher goes a few miles down them anyway. I've got a few sets of these and a full set of thresher wheels are coming up on an auction next week.

The rim without the tire doesnt really look like it was designed to be used ...without the tire. I'll take the rubber off and take a picture of the rim tomorrow.

Aint arguing, just saying how it appears to me. But I was guessing a threshing machine myself.

That rubber you cannot take off as it was molded on for road use on a treshing machine and it is put on and is the same as the rubber tires for the trucks and cars for from the 1900 to 1930 area and you will completely destroy the wheel if you try to take the rubber off, it was not farmerized.
