Vevor Tools

I see that name on just about any product, electric motors to honey extractors. Don't know who the manufacturers are, kind of like HF. I put one on my hay elevator, so far so good but it doesn't get used much.

Actually browsing one of their cheap replacement air compressor pumps.
Haven't had issues with anything else i have gotten with that name
And the price is hard to look away from

This company called Vevor has some cheap cost tools I bought a metal shear and a slip roller So far no problems
I’m ok with them, just used their trailer winch to pull this ‘47 Willys onto my car hauler. I also have their overhead hoists in my shop.

I am going to look at a mag drill tomorrow. Its still in the plastic and cheaper than paying sales tax on a brand name.

Place I work for bought a portable chiller from them for our anti freeze still. Was working quite well till the water pump motor burned up last week. Compressors are still holding up.

I assume Vevor is a retailer that puts its brand on a variety of imported products, probably knock-offs of other brands and maybe made in the same plants. I doubt they design any of their products.

I bought a concrete vibrator from them that's served me well and still works great after having used in pouring several pads and footings. It was cheaper to buy it than it was to rent one for a day. Also have many smaller items from them: Joystick loader valve on a Cockshutt 540, one of their macerator pumps in my basement laundry room, a few cooking supplies (a large 36-quart stock pot and coffee urns for the church I go to), some diamond hole saws for drilling through tile, and a couple of their tire irons and bead-breakers. Probably several more items I'm forgetting too.

Probably not the highest quality stuff in the world, but all working dandy for anything I've used it for.

Over on Practical Machinist they won't even let you mention the name.
On another site I saw a guy bragging that he just bought a 10" 3 jaw lathe chuck for $110.
What kind of a chuck do you think he could get for that? I would be afraid to spin it up for fear of it exploding into shrapnel and killing me.

Yeah, that's probably a little sketchy for a 10", but the guys on Hobby Machinist recommended a 6 inch for my Atlas in that price range. "accurate enough for hobby use" and from Shars which is a pretty well known name for machining stuff.
