W4 connecting rod journals

Does anyone know the original size of 152 CID engine's connecting rod journals? I am rebuilding my W4's engine and am unsure what size over standard to order.

First you better mike the crank then take the old inserts to the bearing shop and by the # on the insert they will know how much oversized or std they are.

You should have your local auto machine shop to measure those journals. They can supply the correct bearings including unsersize if the shaft has been ground. You may need new cam bearings too. They determine good oil pressure. Hal
PS: Your tractor's crankshaft may measure from factory on the rods 2.2475-2.2485" or 2.2975-2.2985" depends on the serial number & the mains
the 2.4975-2.4985" or 2.5575-2.5585".

Gene,

The number on the journals and mains identifies them as standard. The problem is some previous owner installed two brass shims under each insert and mains. We can measure them and order the proper size once we know the original size.
